Whether it’s an intimate date night with my husband or a farewell dinner for a friend, nothing brings me more joy than gathering around a well-set table. After a decade of hosting in New York City, I’d collected beautiful tableware for every kind of occasion - but storing it all in my apartment (and remembering what I had) became a full-time job. I began to realize how different planning for each unique celebration was - and how different the setup needed to be. The pieces I reached for on Easter Sunday were completely different than those I needed for a birthday celebration. The time I spent running around the city - tracking down everything from a stainless steel ice bucket to the perfect cake cutter - became overwhelming and expensive.

I’ve always believed the time, energy, and money spent on hosting was worth it—but I kept thinking: there has to be an easier, more affordable way.
